We had a great dining experience at Los Pumpos. The food was delicious, the mole was sweet, and the atmosphere was very Chiapas-esque. Breakfast includes fruit and atole, champurrado, or coffee. Breakfast was served until 1 p.m. The only drawback was that it took a while to bring some tamales, but overall, I would return again. Parking is very difficult in the surrounding area, but there is a lot right across the street.

Vegetarian options, food made with care

Great place. The restaurant was really clean and the food was fresh & delicious. There was a constant flow of people. Service was excellent.

I was taken there with a tour guide. I loved it. I ordered chilaquiles chiapaneco and it was finger licking good. I would like to try the other specialties as well, as they seem to have a very large menu. The staff was friendly and efficient and we were served very promptly.

Some delicious tamales! Our young server was attentive, and very apologetic that the kitchen was closing early. Check before sitting, otherwise you'll likely not get drinks or some of the non-tamal offerings.

Delicious mole enchiladas!

They have a very extensive and reasonably priced breakfast menu, which includes coffee, tea, or champurrado, and juice or fruit. You can also buy tamales, chipilin, mumo, etc. The place is very cozy, very lively on the weekends, and the service is excellent. I recommend the enchiladas de la abuelita; the mole is delicious.

In this place you are going to be welcomed by the owner (Jorge), enjoy the great flavors of south-mexican (Chiapas) cuisine and affordable prices
